Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician (On-Call) to join our team in the Boston/Cambridge area. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio visual equipment for events, meetings, and conferences. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality audio visual services.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Audio Visual Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Technician, preferably in a corporate or event setting
- Proficient in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of audio visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, video conferencing systems, and lighting equipment
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio visual best practices
- Familiarity with different video conferencing platforms and online collaboration tools
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and test audio visual equipment for events, meetings, and conferences
- Operate audio visual equipment during events to ensure optimal sound, lighting, and video quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime
- Assist presenters and clients with the setup and operation of audio visual equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on audio visual equipment to ensure its proper functioning
- Stay updated on the latest audio visual technology trends and best practices
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional audio visual services
- Provide technical support and training to users on audio visual equipment and software
- Maintain accurate records of audio visual inventory, including equipment check-in/check-out and maintenance logs
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
