**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our team at KVL in Burlington The Audio Visual Technician will be responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment. This individual will support various events, meetings, and presentations to ensure seamless audio and visual experiences for all participants.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Audio/Visual Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience working with audio and visual equipment, including set up, operation, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of various audio and video systems, including microphones, projectors, speakers, and control systems
- Familiarity with different types of cables, connectors, and adapters commonly used in audio visual setups
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support event needs
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to dynamic event environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

**Responsibilities:**

- Set up and test audio and visual equipment for events, meetings, and presentations
- Operate sound boards, projectors, and other audiovisual equipment during events
- Troubleshoot technical issues with audio and visual systems as they arise
- Assist presenters and event organizers with audio and visual setup requirements
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored after events
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use of audio and visual equipment
- Stay current on emerging audiovisual technologies and trends in the industry
